VSO tickets on sale now

True music lovers will not want to miss this.

Once again, the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra and Vancouver Coastal Health are partnering to support our patients and volunteers.  As it has for many years, the VSO has generously donated over 1,000 tickets to VCH.  The Vancouver Volunteer Resources Department sells these tickets to VCH staff, physicians, students and the employees of contractors for just $10 each, and uses the proceeds to support volunteer recognition, and to pay for emergency clothing for patients.

Something new

“There’s something new this year,” explains Greg Terpenning, the manager responsible for volunteers in Vancouver. “In addition to tickets to 12 world-class performances, the VSO is also offering a special discount to VCH staff to two very special concerts on November 4 and 6. Maestro Bramwell Tovey will lead the VSO in two performances of Elgar’s Dream of Gerontius. This is not something we would ordinarily be able to offer, but the VSO has been exceptionally generous this year.”
