Community discussion on fentanyl
VCH and a number of other organizations are hosting a community information and discussion on fentanyl and overdoses. The free forum is focused on parents but everyone is welcome. There will be a short presentation, one of which will be by VCH Medical Health Officer Dr. Réka Gustafson, followed by a question and answer session, and breakout discussions. The Vancouver School Board and the Vancouver Police Department are also participating.
Topics include:
- Tips for talking with your kids or friends
- Tools for overdose response, including naloxone
- Taking action in our community
