Your feedback says it all. Attending a Vancouver All-Staff Forum is time well spent.
Almost 200 people answered our survey on Vancouver’s first All-Staff Forum of 2018: Innovations in Health Care — and the results are clear.
Almost three-quarters of survey participants said they would recommend attending a Vancouver All-Staff Forum to a colleague.
Importance of teamwork recognized
Developed in consultation with staff and physicians, the February forum featured Vancouver staff and physicians using new and everyday technology to transform patient care in the hospital and in the community. Following the forum, Vancouver’s Innovation Fair showcased the latest and greatest innovations in use or coming soon to Vancouver.
“The forum was a great way to bring staff together and update us on current initiatives for a better future,” commented a survey respondent. “My eyes were opened.”
Of those staff and physicians who answered the survey, an impressive 80 per cent said the forum recognized the importance of teamwork to successful innovation. In addition, the majority agreed:
- the forum provided a balanced perspective of the benefits and challenges of technological innovation
- attending the forum was a good use of their time
- they would recommend attending a VCH-Vancouver fair to a colleague
