I am a plastic surgeon with a focus on microsurgical breast reconstruction for patients undergoing mastectomy for breast cancer. I’m also a VCH Mentored Clinician Scientist researcher (with funding from VGH & UBC Hospital Foundation) – studying patient satisfaction after reconstructive surgery and other quality of life outcomes in breast cancer survivors.
One thing that we might be surprised to find out about you:
Last year I hiked to the top of a dormant volcano in Rwanda to sit with the wild gorillas on a guided trek.
Favourite hobby:
Travel and anything fashion-related!
Three things you always have in your fridge:
Greens plus, fruit salad, yogurt
What makes you happy?
Going running early morning on the weekends while the city is still sleeping.
Most healthy habit:
Yoga
Favourite vacation spot or place you’ve visited:
Cartagena, Columbia
