How long have you worked at VCH?
I have been a physical therapist and neuroscientist with the Brain Research Centre and VCH Research Institute since relocating to Vancouver in 2006.
Your VCH contribution. Tell us what you do at VCH in one sentence.
The goal of my work is to refine stroke rehabilitation interventions by advancing knowledge of what therapies alter brain structure and function in helpful ways after damage.
One thing that we might be surprised to find out about you:
I always wanted to be an English professor.
Favorite hobby:
Distance running.
Three things you always have in your fridge:
Bananas, skim milk and beer – for recovery from my favourite hobby and most healthy habit!
What makes you happy?
Kids, dogs and brain data.

Distance running.
Favourite vacation spot or place you’ve visited:
My favourite vacation spot is on the east side of the Cascade Mountains in a place called Sisters, Oregon.
