I have been working as an attending physician for a year and a half. Prior to being staff, I was in a five-year residency training program.
Your VCH contribution. Tell us what you do at VCH in one to two sentences.
Most of my work is clinical, providing care to patients who visit the emergency department. An integral part of the job that I enjoy is medical education, teaching medical students and residents.
This year, I was privileged to be involved with a documentary series for the Knowledge Network, where we had the opportunity to demonstrate some of the unique aspects of emergency department care, and show the inner workings of the ED “behind the scenes.”
One thing that we might be surprised to find out about you:
I play ice hockey, although I didn’t learn to skate until I was in my 20s.
Favorite hobby?
World travelling, playing ice hockey with my husband, trying new recipes
