Tell us what you do at VCH in one or two sentences:
I support the public health nurses, health unit aid, sensory screener, dental hygienist, and needle exchange coordinator in their work, as well as work with them promoting health and preventing illness in the community.

What’s your favourite thing about your work?
Community collaboration with other early childhood care providers around health education.

How does your work contribute to the VCH True North goals?
It is client-centred practice. And we’re hosting a free health check-up for Sunshine Coast children aged four and five in Sechelt May 1 and 2.

One thing we might be surprised to learn about you:
I have always enjoyed reading children’s books to audiences using different sound effects.

Three things you always have in your fridge:
Maple syrup, apples and cheese.

What makes you happy?
Delivering or hearing a good story that is topical and has an interesting point of view.

Most healthy habit:
Walking up “School Road” in beautiful Gibsons at least twice a week after work .

Favourite vacation spot:
Vancouver.
