Tell us what you do at VCH in one or two sentences:
I work with parent groups, caregivers, early childhood educators, school staff, health professionals and community groups to promote health for all ages through healthy eating and active living. I’m also helping introduce a new tool to help patients and clients eat more veggies!
What’s your favourite thing about your work?
Inspiring families to cook and eat together.
How does your work contribute to the VCH True North goals?
I contribute to the health of my community through healthy eating and active living.
One thing we might be surprised to learn about you:
I love to run a long ways on trails.
Three things you always have in your fridge:
Vegetables (whatever is in season), miso, and salsa.
What makes you happy?
Being outdoors on trails and finding new beautiful trails.
Most healthy habit:
Eating lots and lots of vegetables.
Favourite vacation spot:
Anywhere there is a great trail to ride or run, preferably where it is warm and sunny.
