I coordinate teams of nurses and volunteers to offer the influenza vaccine as widely as possible among Downtown Eastside residents and workers.

What’s your favourite thing about your work?
I love interacting with our clients, volunteers and nurses.
How does your work contribute to the VCH True North goals?
Every day we work towards accomplishing all of the True North Goals: We interact with our clients in a caring way, we build effective teams of nurses and volunteers (most of whom come back year after year), we are always innovating to reach more clients and use our time effectively, everyone on our teams is committed to excellent care and our more experienced nurses mentor the newer nurses to achieve best practices, most importantly we are working to keep the community healthy.
One thing we might be surprised to learn about you:
I dance in the woods with the faeries.
Who is somebody that you consider a major role model in your life?
Every nurse that I meet shows me how to be a better nurse.
Who or what inspires you?
My husband inspires me every day.
Most healthy habit:
I ride my bicycle everywhere.

Richard Dreyfuss.
