Tell us what you do at VCH in one or two sentences:
I work with marginalized people in the Downtown Eastside and Strathcona to link them with community resources and health care. I strive to empower them and increase their self-management and self-worth.

What’s your favourite thing about your work?
I really like connecting with clients and working with a great interdisciplinary team; nurses, case managers, clerical staff, rehab staff, doctors and leadership/management team.

How does your work contribute to the VCH True North goals?
I absolutely contribute to the health of a marginalized population in the downtown eastside and Strathcona. I work collaboratively with each individual client, based on where they are at and their needs to provide the best health care.

One thing we might be surprised to learn about you:
I like the artist formerly known as Prince, now known as Prince.

Coffee, milk and cucumbers.

People who strive to improve themselves.
