I’ll be managing updates to the VCH.ca website, sharing digital content across the website and social media networks, and other exciting projects!

What’s your favourite thing about your work?
I’ll get to engage with a huge audience online on very relevant topics that affect everyone. Social media has opened up all kinds of issues for public discussion, which can be tricky for organizations, but it keeps things exciting.

How does your work contribute to the VCH True North goals?
I’ll be sharing content on the website and social media networks that promotes better health for communities through tips and education. The online exposure will spread the word on the wonderful things that happen at VCH, which will increase exposure and help attract people to join our team. And through social media, I receive honest feedback from our communities and can engage people in conversation to find ways to improve their experience with our services.

One thing we might be surprised to learn about you:
I have a YouTube channel with over 17.5 million views and 100,000 subscribers. I started making tutorial videos five years ago on cutting up t-shirts into new designs using just a pair of scissors (no sewing required).

Three things you always have in your fridge:
Milk, salsa, and ice cream (in the freezer).

Who or what inspires you?
Innovation and new ideas.

Most healthy habit:
Walking (while shopping)

Favourite vacation spot:
So far, it’s the Bahamas, but I still need to go to Europe and Southeast Asia!
