Tell us what you do at VCH in one or two sentences:
Coordinate VCH Nursing Field Services for staff TB Skin Testing and Baseline Vaccinations. I coordinate the Peer Nurse Immunizer Program also for the influenza campaign.


What’s your favourite thing about your work?
Talking to the awesome and dedicated staff working for VCH. Exploring people’s ideas and misconceptions about vaccines and disease management.


How does your work contribute to the VCH True North goals?
We provide information about protecting yourself from vaccine preventable diseases and encourage staff to take steps towards self care and creating a healthy home and work environment.


One thing we might be surprised to learn about you:
I used to work in Instructional Media Services at GF Strong Rehab Centre as an audio visual producer.


Three things you always have in your fridge:
Vegan cheese, pumpernickel bread, and apples.


Who or what inspires you?
People who are respectful in difficult situations, compassionate to others, and self reflective.


Most healthy habit:
Eating many fruits and vegetables daily.


Favourite vacation spot:
Barcelona was amazing to explore this year, but also Hamilton, Ontario is where my family lives and I always enjoy my vacation time there.
