I work with all levels of leadership to create and support the design and implementation of structures that empower our people to provide the best care for patients/clients/residents and families every day!
What’s your favourite thing about your work?
No question, it’s the people!
How does your work contribute to the VCH True North goals?
Supporting staff, physicians and our contracted partners to challenge the status quo and seek to continuously improve the quality of care we provide in their day to day work supports innovation, the development of an amazing workforce and ultimately, better care for our patients.
One thing we might be surprised to learn about you:
I love 80s heavy metal/hair bands.
Three things you always have in your fridge:
With the kids away at university, there isn’t much anymore except leftovers that no one wants!
Who or what inspires you?
People who live in the moment. Being a planner, type A personality, I aspire to be more like them.
Most healthy habit:
Red wine – apparently it’s good for my heart!
Favourite vacation spot:
Hmmm tough one. So far I’d say Croatia and Spain, but I have many more places on my bucket list so ask me again in a few years!
