The VGH Cardiac Surgery Quality Improvement Working Group has earned a Top Innovation Award at the 2017 BC Health Care Awards for halving the rate of surgical site infections.

As of Tuesday night all ~150 residents have been moved out of the dilapidated Balmoral Hotel SRO and into new homes, with VCH staff’s help.

The new Richmond Mental Health & Substance Use team site opened to clients last week. The new facility, located at #210-7671 Alderbridge Way, was planned with input from clients and families, and speaks to the benefits of taking a patient-centred approach to all aspects of healthcare planning and delivery.

Wednesday, June 21 is National Aboriginal Day across Canada and there is a wide range of events to celebrate.
