Staff flu clinics easier to find with online locator


The VCH staff flu immunization clinics are running October 22 to November 30 and it’s easier than ever to get your flu shot using the online clinic locator. Public health clinics, pharmacists and family physicians will also have vaccine beginning November 5.

There are four ways to get your flu shot:

1. Attend a staff flu shot clinic
Check the online Staff Flu Clinic Locator (accessible from work or home computers) to attend any lower mainland health authority staff flu shot clinic.

  • Bring your staff ID
  • Pick up a sticker for your ID badge that indicates you’ve been immunized

2. Attend a flu shot clinic and a Public Health Unit

These clinics will have influenza vaccine beginning November 5. Use the Public Health Flu Clinic Locator to find aPublic Health Unit convenient for you. There is no fee for flu immunization for health care workers.

3. Visit your pharmacist
Pharmacies will have influenza vaccine beginning November 5

  • Bring your staff ID
  • Report that you’ve been immunized by sending this Influenza Immunization Report form to flushot@whcallcentre.ca or call 1-855-358-3580
  • Tell your manager or supervisor you’ve been immunized; they’ll provide a sticker for your ID badge indicating that you’ve been immunized

4. Visit your family physician
Have a doctor appointment coming up? Ask for your flu shot while you’re there.

  • Bring your staff ID
  • Report that you’ve been immunized by sending this Influenza Immunization Report form to flushot@whcallcentre.ca or call 1-855-358-3580
  • Tell your manager or supervisor you’ve been immunized; they’ll provide a sticker for your ID badge indicating that you’ve been immunized
