The Regional Mental Health & Addiction (RMH&A) Program was created 18 months ago. We have created an e-newsletter to respond to a need to engage staff, physicians and stakeholders who may not receive regular updates from other communication channels within Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) and Providence Health Care (PHC). Our intent is to provide more accessible and timely communication about regional mental health and addiction sites and services.
Using a population-based approach, the RMH&A Program is accountable to meet the needs of the VCH/PHC population at every stage of their lives by providing a high quality, accessible, integrated and comprehensive continuum of mental health and addiction services.
Our mandate is to be responsible for strategic and service planning aligning with the Ministry of Health, VCH and PHC strategic plans.
It is our hope that Regional Mental Health & Addiction (RMH&A) Program news will be an additional way for us to regularly share information across our sites and show how we all contribute to the overall wellness of clients and families.
