Paul Brownrigg, Laura Case and Vivian Eliopoulos answer questions at the latest True North forum.

True North Forum galloped out West

On Wednesday afternoon, amidst country music and red-and-white checkered tablecloths, CEO Mary Ackenhusen and members of our senior executive team spoke to leaders at the Grand Ole VCH Opry (well, VGH’s Paetzold Auditorium) about our successes last fiscal year, our continuing priorities and finding the courage to innovate.

Why the country backdrop? If you joined us at January’s forum, you heard Mary say that she loves country music. To have a little fun this time around, our True North strategy galloped out West.

The forum

Mary and other members of our senior executive team spoke at the forum:

  • Vancouver chief operating officers Laura Case and Vivian Eliopoulos emceed the forum.
  • Mary talked about what is new (and the same) for the fiscal year, what’s happening with CST, and finding the courage to innovate at work.
  • Laura, Vivian, and vice presidents Barb Lawrie and Paul Brownrigg talked about taking smart risks, making tough decisions and encouraging innovative thinking within their teams.

To close, leaders in the audience or on the webcast had the opportunity to ask questions and join in the discussion. Watch for the next True North Now podcast with the forum’s highlights!
