Free bike tune-ups while you work at VGH

Everyone wants to ride a well-maintained bike to work, right? To do so — and to “extend” the celebration of this week’s Bike to Work Week (BtWW), VCH is bringing a bike mechanic to perform basic tune-ups during the workday.

Tune-up terms and conditions

As there is limited space for this free offer, bikes must be in working order and capable of safely being ridden/rode/biked to the tune-up.

  • Instructions for where/how to leave your bike will be sent to respondents a week in advance.
  • If you wish to have brakes or inner tubes replaced, be sure to pick up the correct size(s) at a bike shop and leave them with your bike for the mechanic to install – free-of-charge.

Sign up using one of the following links:

There’s still time to register for Bike to Work Week!

Also, don’t forget that it’s not too late to register for BtWW and log your rides. VCH cyclists who lead a team of at least five riders will win a 100 per cent merino wool shirt for their effort.

If you have any questions about BtWW, please contact Arthur Orsini, Active Transportation Lead, VCH.
