How long have you worked at VCH?
Since October of 2005

Your VCH contribution. Tell us what you do at VCH in one sentence and why your role is meaningful to you:
Everyday of my VCH life, I am surrounded by amazing Volunteers – working here day and night out of the kindness of their hearts. It truly brings joy and meaningfulness to my job.

One thing that we might be surprised to find out about you:
I met my wonderful man of 5 years in a VCH warehouse – next to a shelf full of catheters and bedpans! Who knew!?!

Favourite hobby and how you came to take it up:
I’ve been playing Ringette and Hockey since I was 9 years old. I have been proven to out-skate any guy in the rink!

Three things you always have in your fridge:
1) Peanut butter
2) Sprite Zero
3) More peanut butter!

What makes you happy?
My beautiful daughter Brooklynn and my amazing mother, Sheila.

Most healthy habit:
I have lost over 40 pounds since February of 2010. It was a complete lifestyle change and I’ve magically managed to stick to it!

Favourite vacation spot or place you’ve visited:
LAS VEGAS. It’s kind of like Disneyland for big people!
