How long have you worked at VCH?

Two and a half years, the first year was as a fellow.

I’m a radiologist, performing interventional procedures and am developing the vascular MRI service.

One thing that we might be surprised to find out about you:

At age 16, I rode a motorbike and had an earring; for a short period in my early 20s I had peroxided hair.

Favorite hobby:

Golf, but don’t get to play as often as I want to.

Three things you always have in your fridge:

1. Good chilli sauce

2. Good cheese

3. Milk for tea

What makes you happy?

Sunshine (the irony is not lost living in Vancouver) and Springbok rugby.

Most healthy habit:

I love running on the seawall.

Favourite vacation spot or place you’ve visited:

The Natal coast, South Africa.
