I share all of our awesome innovations and stories with the media. So, if you know a great volunteer or staff member in the organization who consistently goes above and beyond, you’re working on a cool invention/project/initiative in your department, or just think, “Gosh, this should be in the paper or on TV” – CALL ME!

One thing that we might be surprised to find out about you: 

I did the totally un-type-A (i.e. un-Viola) thing and quit my last job to move to Australia and travel. I even got inked to celebrate the incredible journey ahead.  So far in life I’ve been to 29 countries on four continents but I want to hit up all seven – including Antarctica! Oh, and I looooove karaoke!

Favorite hobby:  

I don’t know if cleaning counts as a hobby but I enjoy it. Same with ironing. But you definitely won’t catch me in the kitchen cooking – I am so bad at that!

Three things you always have in your fridge: 

Eggs, yogurt and a ton of vegetables.

What makes you happy?  

Skype chats with my boyfriend in New Zealand, my two cats, Reese’s Peanut Butter cups and toffee nut lattes at Starbucks (did you know they only offer toffee nut at Christmas in Australia and New Zealand? And my wonderful mum had to mail me Reese Pieces because I was in severe withdrawal).

Most healthy habit:  

Running. My boyfriend and I have a contest to see who can run the most kilometers before June for a free trip to Bora Bora. So that’s great motivation for me to get out there!

Favorite vacation spot or place you’ve visited:

Vietnam. It had an amazing mix of history (I’m a Vietnam War buff), wonderful people, beaches, cheap drinks/food and fun!
