I am appointed under the Public Health Act to promote health, to prevent disease and injury and to protect people on the North Shore from health hazards.

What’s your favourite thing about your work?
I like that my work has a preventive focus and that it aims to make the world a happier and healthier place.

How does your work contribute to the VCH True North goals?
My work contributes to the goal of promoting better health for communities on the North Shore.

One thing we might be surprised to learn about you:
I’ve always wanted to be a super-hero. My super-powers haven’t developed yet so in the meantime I read comic books.

Three things you always have in your fridge:
Eggs, bacon and fruit. I never skip breakfast!

What makes you happy?
Family and friends. Also, a really good latte!

Most healthy habit:
Crossfit! I train almost every day.

Favourite vacation spot:
I love getting to know big cities.
