Tell us what you do at VCH in one or two sentences:
I am an addictions nurse at the START team where we assist people who are struggling with substance use to be connected to evidence based and trauma informed treatment. I also provide withdrawal management within the comfort of their own home.


What’s your favourite thing about your work?
I love working in a collaborative environment where my ideas and experiences are valued and that’s what I get here at the START team.


How does your work contribute to the VCH True North goals?
By including my clients in the development of their care plans and putting my clients’ needs first I can ensure that I can provide for them the best care possible.


One thing we might be surprised to learn about you:
I love to crochet.


Three things you always have in your fridge:
Water, lemons, cucumbers.


Who or what inspires you?
My parents have always instilled in me the value of public service.


Most healthy habit:
I try to drink plenty of water with lemon or cucumbers.


Favourite vacation spot:
Cannon Beach, Oregon and Las Vegas.
