I’ve been a CEAN member since Aug 2012.


Tell us what you do at VCH in one or two sentences:
Members of VCH’s Community Engagement Advisory Network (CEAN) volunteer their time, knowledge and experience to help to provide the patient/public voice in healthcare planning. They also connect VCH to the communities they live and work in.


What’s your favourite thing about your work?
The positivity and respect always…from Saori and Belinda.


How does your work contribute to the VCH True North goals?
Working with like-minded people to make our health care the best it can be within the fiscal constraints. Working to empower the public with the information and knowledge of the choices available to all of us.


One thing we might be surprised to learn about you:
The role I am most proud of is being ‘Nana’ to three brilliant and beautiful beings.


Three things you always have in your fridge:
Lemons, hot sauce, avocados.


Who or what inspires you?
Oprah, the Toronto Bluejays and quotes from famous and ordinary people.


Most healthy habit:
Drinking lots of Vancouver water.


Favourite vacation spot:
Green Lake, Cariboo (BC)
