The domestic hot water supply to the South Tower of Richmond Hospital will be shutdown from 9 pm this Friday until 4am on Saturday.

The renovations have allowed more efficient use of the available space, and have made it possible to utilize two new pieces of equipment: the NeuroGym and the Tilt Table.

Sandie has been an outstanding manager, mentor and team member, and we thank her for her many contributions to improving patient care, work life and the overall hospital environment for staff and patients.

A domestic cold water shutdown for the North Tower of Richmond Hospital will occur on Friday, July 5th from 9pm to 12 midnight.

Doctors and health care professionals from Richmond Hospital ran on June 23 at the Scotiankbank Vancouver Half-Marathon & 5K to help raise funds to improve patient care. Thirty runners, including Lynn Walters, nurse and mother of Fraser Walters of the singing group The Tenors, ran on behalf of the Foundation and raised over $17,000 to date towards improving care for patients at Richmond Hospital.

Rich brings to this role a high standard in care delivery, a passion for emergency nursing, and a thirst for ongoing learning. His strong relational skills, respectful and engaging communication style, and breadth of clinical knowledge prepare him well for this challenging role.

As we continue to prepare for our accreditation site visit on November 25-29 2013, you may have heard the term ROP popping up in conversations, but it may still sound pretty fuzzy. So what’s an ROP anyway, and why does it matter?

Partial proceeds from the vendor tables go to the Richmond Hospital & Healthcare Auxiliary to fund a variety of programs and services, including music and recreational therapy, maintenance and management of the buses for Richmond Lions Manor and Minoru Residence, and student bursaries.
